A message from Alhaji Muazu Raji, Founder & Chairman.

“Every child who walks through our gates carries a future worth investing in. Our role is to give them the roots, the discipline and the confidence to grow into it.”
“The Academy was founded on the belief that a school in Yola and Jimeta can meet a world-class standard without losing the warmth of its community. Under this leadership, the school continues to pair strong academics and character formation with a modern, transparent way of keeping families informed.”
Founder / ChairmanThere is a simple truth Alhaji Muazu Raji carries with him: none of us arrive at our own doorstep alone. Long before Learning Roots Royal Academy existed, he was a young man who was given chances he could not have paid for — a fee quietly covered, a door held open, a hand extended by people who owed him nothing. He has never set that debt down. He has only ever tried to pass it forward.
That is the quiet conviction under everything this school does: that talent does not check a family's bank balance before it shows up in a child, and neither should we. A school can be many things — a building, a curriculum, a set of results — but at its heart, this one is an answer to a question the Founder has asked himself for years: what do we owe the child who has the will, but not yet the means? The Learning Roots Scholarship Programme is that answer, set aside each term for the bright children who need it most — not as charity, but as a debt honestly paid.
